Paducah’s Downtown Farmers’ Market
Paducah’s Downtown Farmers’ Market is the best source for fresh, locally grown produce. Twenty vendors line the market with fresh fruits, vegetables, flowers, baked goods, wine and other seasonal items for sale in the open-air pavilion by the riverfront. The Farmers’ Market is open from mid-April through mid-November. The market provides residents and visitors with fresh produce grown within a 100-mile radius of Paducah. Farmers’ Market Seasonal Hours of Operation: Monday through Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Fantastic Fibers
Paducah’s Fantastic Fibers competition includes a juried exhibition of contemporary and innovative fiber arts, held each April, during the Paducah Quilt Show. Held at the Yeiser Art Center, a panoply of fiber-based materials, techniques and processes take the form of two-dimensional wall hangings, three-dimensional object and sculpture, wearable art, and temporary installations.

LowerTown Home & Gallery Tour
More than a dozen homes and galleries will be on the tour this year, including "The Belle Louise" owned by Brent "The Colonel" Dukes, the Queen Anne home of Andy and the Commissioner Gayle Kale just to name a few.
The tour is open to the public and all proceeds benefit the LowerTown Neighborhood Association and scholarships to the Paducah School of Art. What a great way to see some beautifully restored historic homes while helping two wonderfully worthwhile causes! Plus you get to meet some of the fabulous people of the LowerTown neighborhood. The Saturday hours in the afternoon this year will make it easy to tour the galleries as well.
Tickets are $10 per person and cover you for both days. They will be available for sale the week of April 25 to 30 at the Texaco Station in LowerTown (corner of North 7th Street & Madison) and at Bryerpatch Studio (502 North 5th Street)
